Proposed Warrenheip BESS

Avenis Energy is proposing to construct and operate a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at 94-100 Coulsons Road, Warrenheip. The BESS can deliver up to 240MW of power continuously for 4 hours, enough to provide energy for up to approximately 380,000 homes.
Community feedback is important to the development of the proposed Warrenheip BESS. Your feedback will help us to shape the proposal. The survey will close at 5pm on 3 May 2026.
All feedback will be collated in an Engagement Outcomes Report and submitted to the Department of Transport and Planning for consideration.
